JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Systems Admin / Dev Ops to join an established tech company to work on overflow work remotely.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are a software startup specializing in custom ERP/CRM software for the financial services sector as well as other cool disruptive products.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Ideally, you will be fluent in all things Linux and comfortable with PHP, Apache 2 and MySQL. You will also have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail and the below is daily lingo…

AWS Amazon 

  • VPC
  • EC2
  • Snapshots
  • Recovering from Snapshots
  • Installing + maintaining Linux servers, and Apache2 + PHP + MySQL environments.
  • Firewalls incoming traffic rules

Virtualizations

  • Hyper-V
  • Maintaining existing servers
  • Snapshots
  • Recovering from Snapshots
  • Basic troubleshooting, for failing machines

FortiGate/Fortinet

  • Maintaining
  • Basic Firewall rules
  • Adding new VPN users, deleting old VPN users
  • Configuring WAN + LAN

Exchange 2013

  • Maintaining only(No migration will be required)
  • Opening new email-boxes, deleting old email-boxes
  • Handling “Offline Address-List”, adding external contacts, etc…
  • Filtering/Redirecting email rules (Server side)

PPTP VPN Server

  • Adding, and removing users access
  • Active Directory – Adding new users, removing existing users
  • Group Policy Management
  • Unlock “Locked-Out” users manually

Linux Servers

  • SSH PPK Keys: Maintaining, replacing, and installing for new servers
  • Putty sessions management: help out operations, and development team to
  • connect via terminal to the servers
  • Setting-up(Installing + configuring): MySQL, PHP, Apache2, Vhosts
  • Troubleshooting connectivity issues, between servers, remote MySQL, and Apache2.

FreePBX

  • Maintaining the organization’s call center server(Centos)
  • Create new extensions, delete old extensions
  • Connect Yealink 21 phones, to the “FreePBX” (SIP to SIP-Server)
  • Connect X-Lite software (AKA SoftPhone), to the “FreePBX” (SIP to SIP-Server)

Microsoft Servers 2012 – 2016

  • Installing + Configuring MSSQL Servers, and environments
  • IIS: deployments + configurations, implementing SSL Certificates,
  • routing different web-sites into different IPs
  • Security: Lock-Out Policies, disabling default users,
  • restricting MSSQL users for specific IPs,
  • Prevent non-complex passwords, etc.
  • Troubleshooting communication errors
  • Windows Firewall Management

Ashay Back-up System

  • No need of prior knowledge, however, we will train/teach you:
  • Stations, Linux Servers, Windows Servers, Windows OS
  • Determine retentions policies according to the business needs
  • How to recover from a disaster
  • How to retrieve certain file, from a certain date
  • How to backup via one-direction – Preventing data loss
  • Backup to multiple site at once, including an offline location
